چکیده
In India, the prevalence of hypertensive disorders pregnancy was found to be 7.8% and incidence preeclampsia 5.4% [1]. The exact cause hypertension in still remains unknown, even after years extensive research hence this disorder has come dubbed as “disease theories”. Epidemiologic data from many surveys studies supports fact that specific nutritional deficiencies may contribute maternal fetal morbidity [2]. Among all, there exists an alteration calcium magnesium metabolism during which could a potential factor causing pre-eclampsia. Materials Methods: This prospective case control observational study done over period one year Department Obstetrics & Gynaecology at Sri Balaji Action Medical Institute, New Delhi. A total 60 patients with singleton third trimester between age group 18-35 were enrolled study, out 30 who had BP reading ≥140/90 mmHg classified cases normal, normotensive pregnant controls. Comparison levels serum both groups done. Results: undertaken analyse concentration women gestational pre-eclampsia compare these women. We significantly decreased amongst when compared (p value <0.001). Conclusion: Though cannot pin pointed sole factors etiology induced (PIH), findings do support hypothesis hypocalcaemia hypomagnesaemia possible modifiable causation their relationship denied.
